Sugaring vs. Traditional Waxing
Traditional waxing techniques are often irritating to the skin and painful.
With sugaring, the paste is applied in the opposite direction of hair growth; when removed, it extracts the hair in the natural direction of hair growth.
Wax is often a mixture of beeswax, rosin, and oil—synthetic versions can include additives and paraffin which is not environmentally friendly.
Sugaring paste is made from 100% natural ingredients—sugar, lemon, and water.

No, kits are not included in this price. When you sign up for training, you will be given access to our Virtual Theory Course to help you master the theory before you’re hands-on in class. You will also be required to purchase a sugaring kit from Tamara’s Professional Body Sugaring.

KIT PRICES:
Kit prices range from $125.50 - $770, depending on how large of a kit you need.
REGISTERING PRE-KIT:
Before ordering your kit, you will have to register with Tamara (on her website). To learn more, visit Tamara's Sugaring website.
SHIPPING:
Unless we have arranged something specific, your new kit will be mailed to Hive + Honey, and I will give them to you on the day of your Certification!

To ensure a smooth class registration process, we have specific policies in place. Our classes are exclusively for licensed aestheticians, cosmetologists, or current students in these programs.
Prior to booking your class, we kindly ask you to provide us with a current valid esthetic, cosmetology license or beauty school ID via email.
To secure your spot in an upcoming class, we require a Non-Refundable $400 deposit, which serves as a reservation fee and will be applied towards your total balance.
The remaining Non-Refundable course fee is due two weeks before the class date. However, if you need to reschedule and notify us of the change at least one week before the originally scheduled class, your payment can be transferred to the new class date.
We believe these policies help us maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure that all participants meet the necessary qualifications.

Yes, we offer a convenient payment plan for our services. To secure your desired class date, we kindly request a non-refundable deposit of $400. In the event that you need to reschedule your class, you can transfer your deposit to the new date, provided you give us a minimum of one week's notice before your originally scheduled class. To ensure a smooth process, we ask that all remaining payments are made at least one week prior to the scheduled class date.
